Who we are

Holmes Motor Wholesale is an independent, licensed motor dealer selling used cars on the Gold Coast, Queensland. We're not tied to any car maker, so our stock isn't limited to one brand. You'll find the cars we have for sale on our stock page.

How we sell cars

• Our cars come with a safety certificate (RWC), a clear title and a clean PPSR check: no finance owing and not recorded as stolen.
• Each car's page shows its kilometres and VIN, so you can check its history yourself.
• Finance is available. Ask us, or bring your own pre-approval.
• Warranty is available. Ask us about the options for the car you like.
• Trade-ins are welcome. Any figure depends on seeing your car.
• Test drives are by arrangement.

About our prices

The price on a car's page is what we're asking for that car. Before you commit, ask us what it includes and whether anything else is payable, such as government charges for transferring the registration, and get the full amount in writing.

What to expect when you buy from us

1. Find a car on our stock page, or tell us what you're after.
2. Send us an enquiry about it, and we'll get back to you.
3. See it and drive it. Test drives are by arrangement.
4. Check it. Search the VIN on the PPSR and the recall website, and ask us anything about the car.
5. Choose how to pay: your own money, your own lender, or ask us about finance. Trade-ins are welcome.
6. Sign the paperwork. In Queensland, a licensed dealer must give you the cooling-off form and, for a car that has one, the statutory warranty notice before you sign.

Your rights

When you buy from a dealer, the consumer guarantees in the Australian Consumer Law apply. In Queensland, most used cars from a licensed dealer also come with a statutory warranty and a cooling-off period. Buying from us explains them in plain English.
